November 15, 2024 – Major plays well with other dogs and cats
Major fits in very well at his foster home. He has learned the rules and participates in all activities. He loves galloping around the yard during ball games and will retrieve the ball but isn’t yet very good at returning it. He has an excellent recall and will come running from the back of the yard when you call his name.
He has learned to use our doggie door and is eager to learn more. He is gentle with our kitties and loves playing with the other dogs. Major rides well in the car and has gotten to meet quite a few new people.
After a few accidents we found out Major had a urinary tract infection. After a week on antibiotics he seems to be much better and isn’t having any more accidents.

November 1, 2024 – Major arrives to his foster home
Major is a one year old male who was transferred to us from a humane society. This handsome boy is shy but oh so sweet once he knows you are his friend. He is trying to figure out where he belongs in the resident pack and learn the house rules. Major seems to know several commands and is a typical smart Border Collie. He came to shelter through a concerned citizen who saw him on Facebook and wanted to make sure he went to a good home.
