Dog’s Best Friend, Ltd. Patricia B. McConnell, Ph.D. is a Certified Applied Animal Behaviorist and Adjunct Assistant Professor, UW – Madison. She is a zoologist at UW in Madison who teaches Animal Behavior. She is also on public radio here in Wisconsin on a show called Calling All Pets – Saturdays with Larry Mueller
Dr. McConnell also raises Border Collies and is very familiar with the issues of the breed. She trains animals with behavior problems and in doing so, she has saved the lives of many animals.  She uses and teaches non-aversive, non-invasive techniques for controlling animals.
